Cubes-, Strips-, Slices-Cutting Machines
For cutting vegetables such as carrots, celery, beetroot, cucumbers, potatoes and much more into cubes, strips, slices or julienne slices and leafy greens or lettuce.
The Cubes-, Strips-, Slices-Cutting Machine is the most universal cutting machine. The product is fed through a funnel into a rotating drum. The centrifugal force pushes the product against the outer wall of the drum. An adjustable knife is installed here, which is then used to cut slices of the product.
An optionally mounted shaft with round blades forms another station. These circular knives cut the slices into strips of equal width.
This is optionally followed by a shaft drum with longitudinal knives, with which the strips can be cut to length and thus cut into cubes or strips limited in length.
The Slice Cutting Machine consists of a V-shaped inlet belt and a cutting wheel at the end, where the blades are mounted in a star shape like a propeller. The knives are held in the middle and by means of an outer ring.
These machines are usually used for long products such as cucumbers, salad-gherkins, carrots, leeks, iceberg lettuce, indive lettuce, chicory, etc.
The Leaf Salad Slicer consists of a flat conveyor belt on which the product such as lettuce, romaine lettuce, kale, spinach, halved peppers, etc. are loaded. A pressure roller mounted above presses the product against the conveyor belt and guides it into a downstream cutting station.
This cutting station consists of circular knives that cut the product lengthwise into strips.
Optionally, this is followed by a shaft drum, equipped with longitudinal blades, with which the strips are cut to length and thus formed into rectangular pieces or shapes. Strips limited in length can be cut.
