For washing and thorough cleaning of cucumbers and root vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, beetroot,Parsnips etc. for loosening and washing off the adhering soil, dirt, etc.

Brushes Washing machines with vertical brushes are used to remove adhering soil and dirt from cucumbers and root vegetables. Usual dimensions are inner diameter of approx. 900 mm and different lengths, depending on the required capacity.

The length also depends on the number of pairs of brushes installed. Usually, 3 stations with one pair of brushes each and up to max. approx. 6 pairs of brushes are common.

On the sides of the walls of the washing machine, fixed brushes are installed. So that the product is brushed between a fixed and rotating brush or between two rotating brushes. The rotation direction of the individual brushes can be optionally designed.

The replenishment for lost water is carried out by the downstream laundry, oven available, or controlled by a level control and solenoid valve from a fresh water supply.

There are many different variants of brush loading, number of brush pairs and length of the machine.
